There's been a spooky fog in South Mississippi the last few days. It feels like London. Driving along the beach road at night is harrowing, as visibility has been at around 50 feet and there are no lights there.

This picture made me stop as soon as I saw it. How are things going, anyway? I just came from a recent Canadian Red Cross Disaster Relief team meeting (5 people from our group went to Louisiana and Mississippi) and they had lots of observations that I hadn't heard before.

How are people coping now, are people returning, is the weather getting colder? I so hate to think that people's attention is not in focus on the south when there could still be massive despair and suffering going on.

Peace/

Just want you to know that we're still reading and still praying for you and yours.
My family is in South Florida and some of them are stil without power, but none experienced any where near the devastation you did.
Stay strong and keep writing!

update on the hamilton weather ... i know it's mild but we know now that it was an F!~ tornado that ripped through Hamilton and out lying areas BTW: we are not in tornado alley and still got damage from F1. so weather's weird everywhere but i know it's nothing incomparison to what the gulf coast and florida suffered this year.
